Where can I park on when the Krietz Auto Lot is full?

Free parking is available on 3rd & 4th Street. Typically, there will be space along 4th street.

Are your vehicles certified?

Yes, our vehicles are Krietz Certified. Krietz Auto is proud to be a family-owned, independent dealership raising the bar in the car industry. Have peace of mind anytime you drive off of our lot knowing that our certified vehicles are backed by our 125-point inspection process. Our certified vehicles receive the following: the balancing of all 4 tires, tread depth over 50% lift, brakes over 50% wear, brakes are all resurfaced, adjusted and lubricated, a 4 wheel vehicle alignment, full interior and exterior detail, and a Carfax History Report.

How long has Krietz Auto been around?

Krietz Auto Repair has been in business since 1983. Krietz Auto Sales was born one year later.

Can I schedule an appointment for service online or do I have to call?

Yes! You can schedule your appointment online, here.

Do you offer a warranty on your vehicles? If so, what does it entail?

Yes in addition to being Krietz Certified, your vehicle will also come with a limited 3 month/3,000 mile warranty on the engine, transmission, differential components, fluids, seals, and gaskets. Krietz Auto also offers and extended vehicle service contract that can be purchased at the time of sale.

Do you accept vehicle trade-ins?

Yes, we do accept vehicle trade-ins. We strive to offer our customers a fair price through the use of Kelly Blue Book Values.

Will you buy my car even if I don’t want to purchase a vehicle?

Yes, we will buy your car, regardless of whether or not you want to purchase a vehicle from our lot. We are a vehicle buying center! We appraise fairly by utilizing values from Kelly Blue Book.

I’m interested in one of your vehicles, but I live far away. Do you deliver?

Yes, we deliver vehicles within 200-300 miles for $2/Mile. Don’t live that close? Don’t worry! There are always exceptions to the rule if you live farther away. Feel free to contact us if you fall outside of a 300-mile radius, and one of our sales professionals will provide you with the details on our extended delivery service!

I have poor credit, are you willing to work with me?

Do you provide loaner cars if my vehicle is being worked on?

Yes, our service team can provide you with a complimentary loaner car while your vehicle is being serviced.

How does Krietz Auto determine financing terms and rates?

At Krietz Auto, we work with banks in the local area. These banks determine your terms based on your credit history, yearly income, and the price of the vehicle you’re looking to purchase. Keep in mind, that your financing terms and rates will vary depending on all these factors in addition to the price of the vehicle.

Can I pay for a vehicle with cash?

Yes, in this case, customers must pay in the form of certified funds. We accept wire transfers and cashier’s checks.

What do I need to bring with me when buying a car?

We look forward to seeing you! To make this process easy and quick, please be sure to bring the following:

Valid driver’s license
Proof of insurance (required for all vehicle sales)
Proof of income
Proof of residence
Address variance (when the address on credit application is different than address on credit report)
If you’re planning on making a Down Payment, please bring certified funds. We can accept credit card up to $5,000, Certified Check or, Cash

In addition, if you are trading in a vehicle, please bring the following:

Title and/or lien release
Lienholder information to verify payoff amount (Ex: current loan statement)
Registration
Note: anyone on the title must be present to sign

There is a possibility that other documents not listed will also be required of you. If this is the case, our incredible sales team will be able to notify you of anything else that may be required.

When is my first monthly payment due?

The due date of your monthly payment varies depending on the bank you are financing through. Typically, your first monthly payment is due 30 days after you receive your vehicle. The institution providing the loan will reach out in one to two weeks, following the day of purchase, to welcome you and inform you on how you can set up and make your monthly payments.

What happens if I refer someone to you?

Our referral program is like no other because we literally pay you for every new guest you send us who purchases a car! For every person that buys a car from us that you send, we will give you $150!

Where does Krietz Auto get its vehicles?

The majority of the vehicles sold at Krietz Auto are purchased at wholesale vehicle auctions. In addition, we sell customer trade-ins.

Shipping

Our products are shipped within 2-3 Days using the following carriers: USPS, FedEx, UPS. To return your product, you should mail your product to: 301 E 4th St, Frederick, MD 21701. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
